When my wife was first diagnosed with memory loss, I discovered, gradually at first, the challenges caregivers face. This disease sneaks up on you. There is a constant need for caregiving knowledge, followed by the responsibility of tracking health details and daily caregiving notes. Like many caregivers, I had a thirst to learn — scouring every source I could find in search of answers, guidance, and reassurance.
That search became the foundation of AtendaCare. We’ve built that knowledge and those sources into one platform. Our “super brain,” which we call Atenda, is not only super smart but also empathetic and friendly. She listens, remembers, and offers guidance in a way that feels personal and supportive.
I didn’t just develop a solution in search of a problem. I saw the real needs and struggles that caregivers face, and I set out to design something practical that directly responds to those needs.
I’ve spent more than fifty years building solutions and analyzing customer needs across industries. What I’ve learned is that the best solutions come when you immerse yourself completely — not just in the problem, but in the people living it. AtendaCare combines that lifelong experience with my personal caregiving journey, turning both into a platform designed for real-world use.
That’s when AtendaCare began — and it quickly turned into a movement. Indeed, an entire platform. A movement that brings technology down to earth, making it warm, personal, and easy enough for every caregiver to use.
AtendaCare is a voice-first caregiving companion. Instead of struggling to remember what happened yesterday or forcing yourself to sit down and write things out, you simply talk. Atenda listens, remembers, and gently guides — not only with knowledge, but with coaching that helps you anticipate what’s ahead.
What makes AtendaCare unique is that it is built on two essential foundations:
1. Engagement First – Caregivers need to feel heard before they can absorb information. Atenda listens and reflects before offering practical guidance.
2. Memory and Recall – Caregivers juggle hundreds of details: medications, meals, moods, doctor visits, behavioral changes. Atenda remembers and connects those dots, so the caregiver doesn’t have to.
AtendaCare is not meant to replace professionals, nor does it attempt to diagnose. It is designed to stand beside caregivers as a companion and second brain — always present, never judgmental, and always ready to recall details, offer peer-tested dementia care support tips, and prepare summaries for family or medical staff.
It’s my belief that the earlier you adopt this platform, the better for you, your loved one, and your family. The earlier you begin, the sooner you benefit from its knowledge, its guidance, and its coaching.
Caregivers deserve tools that understand both the practical and the emotional challenges of caregiving. By combining Alzheimer’s and dementia care support best practices with modern AI, AtendaCare is building a platform that not only makes caregiving easier but also restores dignity and peace of mind.
This is only the beginning. AtendaCare represents a larger movement to support caregivers everywhere — through dementia, Alzheimer’s, stroke recovery, and beyond.
We believe caregiving should never be a journey you walk alone.
